Caloritech FS Series finned strip heaters are an economic heating source typically used across a wide range of applications, like surface heating (platens, dies, tanks, piping); process air heating (drying cabinets, ovens, baking ovens); dropping resistors for line applications in railroads and load banks; winterizing (hoppers, conveyors, ducts); original equipment (air conditioning, laboratory equipment). They have two offset bolt-type terminals at one end and are an excellent industrial heating product that can be controlled with a control panel, mechanical thermostat, or bimetal thermostats that can be installed on its surface. The heater can be secure on the wall housing with a terminal extending from the sheath for easy electrical connections. The assembly is encased in an aluminized steel sheath and is compressed under high pressure to provide both corrosion resistance and an good appearance. Suitable for use where the maximum sheath temperature does not exceed 1000 °F (538 °C).
