Caloritech SS Series Strip Heaters and Component Heaters are a versatile and economic heating source typically used for surface heating (platens, dies, moulds, tanks, piping); process air heating (drying cabinets, ovens, baking ovens); dropping resistors for line applications in railroads and load banks; winterizing (hoppers, conveyors, ducts, car heating); original equipment (air conditioning, laboratory equipment, food packaging). They have two offset bolt-type terminals at one end and they are an excellent industrial heating product that can be easily controlled by using a heating control panel, mechanical thermostat, or cost-effective bimetal thermostats that can be installed on its surface. Installation - they are rated at 120 V and 240 V. They can be used on voltages lower than listed for reduced wattage, and some designs can also be used on higher voltages – check the factory.
