A short fitting with MPT (male pipe threads) at both ends used to connect one FPT (female pipe thread) fitting to another FPT fitting. Extended life PVC with maintenance-free service. PVC are resistant to rust, pit, scale and corrosion, wich is particularly advantageous in underground installations. This nipple has a low thermal conductivity factor, wich results in less heat loss or gain. This product manufacturing process requires less than half the energy needed to produce the equivalent size of carbon steel or steel alloy materials.
